10th Class Result 2026 Passing Percentage
This year, the challenges for weaker students have slightly increased because the Punjab Boards have raised the passing percentage from 33% to 40%. In previous years, students used to pass with just 33% marks, but this year it is compulsory to secure at least 40% marks in each subject. Otherwise, students will be marked as failed in that subject.

Check 10th Class Result by Roll Number
Checking the result through the roll number is very simple, and most students prefer this method because it allows them to view their result within seconds. Along with the result, you also get a detailed subject wise result, which can be easily downloaded.
To check your result, type your roll number in the search bar given above. Your roll number is the unique number issued to you by your board and is available on your roll number slip. Enter this roll number in the search bar, click on the search button, and your detailed subject-wise result will appear.
Check 10th Class Result by Name
Now, all students can also check their 10th-class results by name. Previously, only a few boards used to provide this facility, but now you can easily check your result by name through our website.
To check your result, type your exact name in the search bar given below, the same way you wrote it at the time of registration. Be careful with spellings, as even a small mistake can cause an error. After typing, a list of all students with the same name who appeared in the examination under that board will be displayed. From that list, you can easily find your own name and check your result.
This method is especially useful for students who have lost their roll number slips and cannot recall their roll numbers, or for those who want to check the result of a relative or friend whose roll number they do not know. By simply having the exact name, you can check results from home.
However, keep in mind that this method can sometimes be difficult, as many students may share the same name. Therefore, if you have your roll number, we recommend using the roll number method instead.
Check Matric Result by SMS
The SMS method is generally used by students who do not have access to the internet. This may happen if you are living in a remote village or if you are traveling and unable to use the internet. Through SMS alerts, you can easily know your obtained marks. However, one drawback of this method is that it requires you to pay charges.
Each Punjab Board issues a unique number for SMS services. You can send your roll number to that number and receive your result. We have provided the details of these board-specific numbers below.

To check the result using SMS, simply create a new SMS on your mobile phone, type your roll number in the message body, and send it to your board’s specific number.
Within a few minutes, you will receive a reply with your obtained marks.

Matric Result by Gazette
Checking results through the gazette is a very old method. Many years ago, students relied on gazettes because internet facilities were not widely available. Shopkeepers would purchase gazettes from the board in the morning and then share results with students, often charging 10 or 20 rupees per result.
The biggest advantage of the gazette is that it contains the results of all students under the Punjab Boards. Today, however, you no longer need to buy a gazette. You can download the 10th-class gazette for 2024 by clicking the button below.
To check results through the gazette, simply open the gazette file, press Ctrl + F, type your roll number, and press enter. Your result will be highlighted instantly. But remember, the gazette will only show you your obtained marks. For detailed results, you will still need to use the roll number method online.
